I've never really thought of not being a photographer. It's just something I've always done. Since I was about 10 years old, I always had some sort of camera with me, at the ready the majority of places I went.  I've had a dSLR since late December 2008 and what I've come to believe is that there are moments that are just meant to be captured.

My personal preference has always been a photo where no one posed, or even necessarily knew that they were being photographed. If the photographer can become "invisible" and is allowed to just blend in some amazing photos can result. It can take a lot of patience and might even ask for you to contort your body in unusual ways, but sometimes in just shifting your position slightly a whole new story is told.
